Superfood ACAI Bowl

 

Everyone has been talking about these and I think they deserve the hype. They are chalk full of antioxidants and taste ddddelicious!


To make this Acai bowl first blend together:
- 2 Acai purée packets
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1/2 Cup Blueberries
- 1/2 Cup Coconut milk
- 3 TBL Hemp Seeds
- 1 tsp Maca root powder

You want this to be a rather thick consistency. Which may take some patience depending on your blender. Adding more frozen banana will help to thicken the mixture. Adding more coconut milk will make it easier to blend, but be careful to not add too much liquid otherwise it could turn out too thin and be more of a soupy consistency.


Pour this mixture into a bowl and top with fresh fruit, coconut flakes, chia seeds, almond butter, and granola. I really like the almond butter in there because it adds another texture.
